Avocado Shrimp sushi Bowl(牛油果大虾碗)

This bowl is definitely one of the best meals in the summer when it gets too hot and you have no appetite. Also it is easy and quick to make!

Japanese food is becoming more and more popular around the world now. I am a huge fan of Japanese cuisine too! It is really similar to Chinese food but they are also quite different in some ways. This bowl is like the mix of Japanese and Chinese food. I am just so in love with it in Summer! I hope you will fall in love as I do with this bowl!

日本菜最近在全世界范围都越来越受欢迎了。我也是一个日本菜的大粉丝!其实日本菜和中国才真的很相似,但是某些方面来说又真的不太一样。这个大虾碗混合了日本料理和中餐的做法。夏天一到我就总是心心念念想着这一碗!希望你们也和我一样爱上它吧!

-----Ingredients:

2     cup                uncooked sushi rice(or just normal white rice)

4                 Tbsp                rice vinegar

2  Tbsp   granulated sugar

1    tsp    salt

1/4 cup     mayonnaise

1 1/2    Tbsp sriracha

2      Tbsp   soy sauce

1                  Tbsp               olive oil

1/4                tsp                garlic powder

1/4                tsp                onion powder

1/4                tsp                chili powder

1/4                tsp                freshly ground black pepper

20 big                 frozen shrimp

2                  medium            carrot

1                  large               avocado

2                  Tbsp              white toasted sesame seeds

2 杯 生寿司米(或者普通白米饭)

4                 汤匙 白米醋

2 汤匙 白砂糖

1   茶匙 盐

1/4 杯 蛋黄酱

11/2 汤匙 红公鸡辣椒酱

2   汤匙 生抽

1 汤匙 橄榄油

1/4               茶匙 蒜粉

1/4               茶匙 洋葱粉

1/4              茶匙 辣椒粉

1/4               茶匙 黑胡椒粉

20 只 冰冻大虾

2                 根 胡萝卜

1                 个 大牛油果

2                 汤匙 白芝麻


-----Instructions:

  1. Follow the instructions on the rice package to cook the rice.

  2. Thaw the shrimp: In a big bowl, put the shrimp in and cover them with cold water for 10-15 minutes until the ice on the shrimp melts.

  3. Prepare the vinegar mix: In a small sauce pan, mix the vinegar, sugar and half of the salt together. Turn the stove on medium and whisk the sauce until the sugar is totally dissolved. Then remove it from the heat and set aside.

  4. Chop the carrot into match sticks and peel and dice the avocado. Set them aside on a plate.

  5. Dry the shrimp out of the water. In a nonstick pan, add olive oil and heat it on medium-high for 1 minute. Then add the shrimp to the pan with the rest of the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder and soy sauce, and stir fry them together for 3-6 minutes depending on the size of the shrimp.

  6. When the rice is done, move it to a big bowl and mix it evenly with the vinegar mix we made.

  7. Make the sriracha mix: In a small bowl, add mayonnaise, sriracha and 1 1/2 tsp of water if you think it is too thick and whisk them together.

  8. Assemble the bowls: Dived the rice into 5 bowls, then top each of them with the same amount of shrimp, carrot and avocado. Then drizzle the sriracha mix and sprinkle the sesame seeds over each bowl.

  9. Enjoy!

-----步骤:

  1. 跟着大米包装上的步骤把大米煮熟。

  2. 解冻大虾:在一个大的盆子里,用冷水覆盖全部大虾,大概10-15分钟直至虾上面的冰融解。

  3. 准备醋汁:在一个小的平底锅内,把白米醋,糖和一半的盐混合在一起。开中火,一直搅拌醋汁直至糖完全溶解,然后关火把汁移到一旁待用。

  4. 把胡萝卜切成火柴大小,然后把牛油果去皮并切成1英寸左右的颗粒状。放一旁待用。

  5. 把解冻的虾擦干。在一个不粘锅内放入油并用中高火加热一分钟。然后加入大虾,剩下的盐,黑胡椒粉,蒜粉,辣椒粉,洋葱粉和生抽,翻炒3-6分钟(决定于虾的大小)。

  6. 米饭熟了之后把它们一直一个大盆里,然后加入醋汁拌匀。

  7. 准备辣椒汁:在一个小碗内放入蛋黄酱,辣椒酱和11/2茶匙的水(如果觉得太稠的话),然后搅匀。

  8. 摆盘:把米饭平均分到五个碗里面,然后放上一样数量的虾仁,胡萝卜和牛油果。最后撒上辣椒汁和白芝麻。

  9. 开吃啦!
