Shrimp salsa lettuce wrap(虾仁莎莎酱生菜包)

This lettuce wrap is perfect for summer! It is so easy and healthy. Only 5 main ingredients in it that make it sooo delicious, why don’t you try it yourself?!

In my opinion, lettuce wrap is the best substitution for tacos if you are trying to lose weight but also want to be healthy and eat delicious food. I am actually doing the 80 day obsession program and sticking to a strict diet, this is one of my meals for lunches. This meal counts as 1 red box (protein), 1 yellow box (carbs), 1 green box (veggies) and 1tsp (oil). Salsa is definitely a great thing to have when you do not have much of an appetite during the hot days. I am also getting a bit tired of meat after moving to the US so shrimp is one of my best friends now! Salsa and shrimp go so great together. I hope you guys enjoy this dish as much as I do!  

我觉得要是你想减肥,吃得健康吃得好,但是又很想吃墨西哥卷饼的话,那这个生菜包真的是最好的替代品了!我最近在做一个80天的运动加饮食控制的健身计划,这是我其中一个午餐计划。这可以算是一份蛋白,一份碳水,一份蔬菜加上一茶匙油。莎莎酱是夏天感到没胃口的时候的最好的食材。而且我自从搬来美国之后对肉没那么有好感所以虾成了我的最好的朋友之一!莎莎酱和虾真的超搭的!我希望你们也会和我一样那么享受这道菜吧!

-----Ingredients:

3     leaves         Iceberg lettuce

1/2             cup                black beans (canned)

5   large        shrimp

3/4              cup                salsa (I bought pico de gallo from Trader Joe’s)

1/4              medium        avocado (cubed)

1                 Tbsp               olive oil

1      tsp      salt

1/4              tsp                black pepper

1/4              tsp               garlic powder

1/4              tsp                onion powder

1/4              tsp                chili powder

1/4              tsp                cumin powder

-----材料:

3 瓣 球生菜叶

1/2              杯 黑豆

5 只 大虾

3/4              杯 莎莎酱(我是在超市买的pico de gallo这种)

1/4              个 中等大小的牛油果(切粒)

1                 汤匙 橄榄油

1    茶匙 盐

1/4              茶匙 黑胡椒粉

1/4              茶匙 蒜粉

1/4              茶匙 洋葱粉

1/4              茶匙 辣椒粉

1/4              茶匙 孜然粉


-----Instructions:

  1. Prepare the lettuce: Carefully take 3 big leaves of lettuce off, wash them with cold running water and tear them into smaller leaves but not too small because we need to use them to wrap the other ingredients.

  2. Cook the shrimp: if you are using frozen shrimps, defrost them by soaking them in the cold water first. Then put the olive oil in a non stick pan and use medium high heat to heat it up for 1 minute. Use the paper towel to dry the shrimp and put them into the pan. Add all the seasoning on the shrimp and stir fry it for 4-6 minutes until all the shrimps turn pink (depending on the size of the shrimp).

  3. Mix the ingredients together: after the shrimp is done, cut them into small chunks and put them in a medium size bowl. Then add black beans, salsa and avocado into the bowl and mix them all together.

  4. Done! Just use a spoon to put the shrimp mixture on the lettuce (hot sauce makes it even better if you like spicy food like I do!) and wrap it up. Enjoy!

-----步骤:

  1. 生菜叶:从生菜包上小心地撕3大片生菜叶下来,清洗干净然后把他们撕成小块叶子。但不能太小,因为还要用他们来包住其它材料。

  2. 炒虾仁:如果你用冰冻虾,要先把他们泡在冷水里面解冻。在不粘锅内放入油,中高火热油1分钟。用厨房纸将虾仁擦干,放入锅内。加入所有调味料然后翻炒4-6分钟直至所有虾仁都变成粉红色(取决于虾仁的大小)。

  3. 把所有材料混在一起:虾仁煮好之后把它们切成小粒,然后放入一个中等大的碗里面。加入黑豆,莎莎酱和牛油果然后把他们全部均匀搅拌在一起。

  4. 大功告成啦!挖一勺虾仁混合物放在生菜叶上面,(喜欢辣的可以加一点辣椒酱会更好吃哦!)卷起来,开吃吧!
